In England I played in pieces by, among others, Brecht, Büchner, Agatha Christie and my self-written piece ‘Hendrickje Stoffels, An Informal Portrait’ was shown in The National Gallery in London and the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.
Director
As a theater director and teacher I often work in the amateur, semi-professional and professional circuit.
Voice actress
As a voice-over, I regularly record texts for corporate films, educational programs and commercials.
Trainer
For over 20 years I have been providing trainings in the field of presentation skills and communication training.

I am a trainer at RSM on the Essentials of Leadership course.
I have worked as a professional actress in the UK, Netherlands, Germany and Finland. My work as a theatre director and drama specialist in the Netherlands and UK is well known in educational establishments and theatres throughout The Netherlands. My work in schools, higher education and universities has been well received as I use Grotowski, Le Page, Brecht and Stanislavski as guidelines in my work. As a trainer in the business world I specialize in voice, presence, storytelling and improvisation.
My goal is to inspire, invent and challenge the client to be in the moment and release tension when presenting and performing with small and large groups. I have worked in Europe, USA, and South Africa for company consultants, HR specialists and technical staff. CFO’s and CEO’s.
Company’s I have worked for are, Sara Lee International, Ballast Nedam, Heerema, EPT, Bex Communicatie, DVNGL. Nijenrode and Alliander. Using theatre skills and sociological thought have helped me think out of the box and create new and dynamic situations for role play and situational drama.
I am a jury member of the Kunstschakel in The Hague where I evaluate art projects on funding and artistic content. I am also a performing member of the Haagse Kunstkring in The Hague and love to recite Roahl Dahl and Shakespeare. I am bilingual, English -Dutch and fluent in German. I played the part of Margaret Thatcher in the Finnish international production of Iron Sky, the Coming Race, a science fiction movie which has been released throughout the world.
